A little intro - without introducing myself apparently lol - about render engines and motion design industry in our days.


IMPORTANT INFO:

- I will be using Cinema4D 2023.1.3 and I will keep updating Octane versions till recordings are done.
The most recent one at the time of publishing this course is 2022.1 {R8}

- I am working at Windows 10. Drivers that I use are 516.94 (Studio)

- It is important to understand that all complexities/instabilities in render engines are many times due to wrong setups, to Windows updates we didn't choose etc. Now, I understand that a lot of you are not interested in your hardware/software and you want things just to work. As I mentioned in the above video, being a cg artist is 90% debugging 10% creating. It's the somewhat unfortunate nature/part of the job description of all 3D things related.

Don't be alarmed though :)
Following simple advices going forward, and you are going to have a very smooth experience with Octane.
